Kate Spade Wristlet: A weekend essential!
From americanos at your favorite coffee shop to shopping with the girls. Then off to dinner at your favorite sushi place. If your weekends are anything like mine your weekends are packed with fun activities! This little Kate Spade wristlet was the perfect weekend go-to. It holds just your essentials (which means no hunting for your card while in line at the mall or not being able to locate your phone among the pandemonium of your usual day bag.) This wristlet also transitions into evening and looks great paired with a monochromatic sundress!

Color Me Rad Run!
On Saturday I ran my first 5k of the year with three of my really good friends! ( Emily, Kristen and Lauren) This was my first ever color run and the first 5k I had done in almost four years. I'm proud to say I ran the entire thing! ( Which was something I was worried about seeing as I hadn't been able to run the whole week before the race.)
For those of you who haven't had the opportunity to run in a Color me Rad run or don't even know what one is for that matter let me explain. Color me Rad one of the many "color runs" as they are often called that happens across the U.S. In a "color run" the racers dress in mostly white athletic wear (although some wear tutus as you will see Kristen doing in the pictures below!) and throughout the race they are pelted with colored corn starch. By the time they have completed the race their lovely white clothes have been completely re-fashioned into crazy colored suits of triumph! In the race I ran they had a "color station" each kilometer which I was a fan of because it made it easy to know how close you were to the finish line.
This race was the perfect end to a week full of pandemonium. I would gladly take part in another Color me Rad run in the future and was excited to get to experience it with three super awesome ladies! Thank you Emily, Kristen and Lauren for telling me about the race and inviting me to come along! Special thanks to Kristen for bringing her phone to the race so that these pictures were possible!

Pandemonium and Pearls
Pandemonium: n. Wild uproar, chaos.
"Pandemonium." Webster's New Compact Dictionary. Revised ed. 1985.
Pearl: n. Hard, lustrous gem formed within the shell of an oyster.
"Pearl." Webster's New Compact Dictionary. Revised ed. 1985.
Among the hustle and bustle of life we each encounter brief moments of elegance, beauty and perfection. It is the pandemonium of life that makes these moments so important and significant to each of us. These moments are like small pearls we cherish and look forward to. The pandemonium it's self also has it's own appeal. It keeps life entertaining, it challenges our ability to think on our feet and often teaches us so much about ourselves that we would have otherwise never had the opportunity to learn. I guess what I'm trying to say is I chose the name for this blog because I felt it represented life which is what I want this blog to be about. Life and everything in it. From fashion and music to entertaining and travel. Everything. I hope you find the entries both entertaining and inspiring.
Until next time.
